Founded in 1999, Study First Group Network developed rapidly to become the largest provider of educational services to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ international colleges, English language schools, and summer junior schools. Since 2009, the organisation has also forged links with top Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ universities representing over 50 leading higher education institutions to overseas students.

In 2010, Study First Group was created to meet with the growing demand for other services like guardianship, sponsorship, university applications and counselling, student educational tours/excursions, group course bookings, group tours and immigration advice.

Study First Group is the global equivalent of the long-established well-known Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Study - Student Services and each year over 20,000 students have benefited from the services of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Study. Students are awarded places at schools, colleges and universities throughout the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. It is with this experience and growing international student demand that we are expanding educational opportunities for students through Study First Group.

To comply with our younger students' needs to have a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ-based educational guardian, in 2010, British Guardianship was established and gradually more students and families became interested in our services and to chose us as their children’s educational guardians.

British Guardianship has years of experience in the international education industry and understands the needs and concerns of students and their parents. If you are sending your son or daughter to a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ boarding school, then you will more than likely be asked by the school to provide the name of a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ-based educational guardian who will be responsible for your child whilst they are studying in the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

We, BritishGuardianship, are committed to the principles of the AQF, as set out in the and the requirements for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ education providers on the . This commitment to the AQF can be demonstrated through our agent provider contracts and our continued engagement with education providers to ensure the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµVI Student Sponsor License responsibilities are met.

We will ensure that all our counsellors serving Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ-bound students complete the British Council’s Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ agent and counsellor training and are individually certified for their knowledge and awareness of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as a study destination.

We will use the AQF to adopt sector-wide best practices and share the AQF with our students to promote transparency and knowledge.

We will use the AQF Good Practice Guide for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Education Agents Partnering for Quality to adopt sector-wide best practices and share the AQF Student and parent guide to choosing an education agent with our students to promote transparency and knowledge.
